This workshop will include discussions and be an introduction to the book “The Lost Art of conversation”. We will start on a journey to help us get back to the basics – to a life in which we are fully present and connected to ourselves and others. Using the principles of the Shambhala tradition – meditation and a sincere belief in the inherent wisdom, compassion, and courage of all beings, we learn how to listen and speak more mindfully and effectively to loved ones, co-workers, strangers and even ourselves. Good conversation, we will discover is ultimately about engaging with kindness and compassion, which leads to perpetual happiness and vitality in all that we do.
